Biased Coin Flip ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our mobile application ("App") available on iOS and Android platforms.
Users may play anonymously without an account, or optionally create an account with an email address to sync progress across devices and access leaderboards.
If you choose to create an account, we collect your email address to authenticate you via Firebase Authentication (Google LLC). Anonymous sign-in is also supported and does not require any personal information. We store a unique user ID (UID) linked to your account.
When you are signed in (anonymously or with an account), we store the following data on Google Firebase servers linked to your user ID:

If you participate in leaderboards, your display name and best score are visible to other users of the app. You can control whether your real username or an anonymous tag (e.g. "Flipper#1234") is shown via Settings → Privacy → Show Username on Leaderboard.
Our app offers optional in-app purchases (virtual currency packs and a remove-ads option). Purchases are processed by Google Play or Apple App Store. We store a record of completed purchases in our database linked to your account to fulfill and verify entitlements.
Our app uses Google AdMob to display advertisements, including banner ads, interstitial ads, and rewarded video ads. AdMob may collect and use information about your device, including:

On iOS devices, we request your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework before accessing your device's advertising identifier (IDFA). We use Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to manage consent for users in regions where data privacy regulations apply, including the European Economic Area (GDPR) and California (CCPA). When required, a consent dialog will be presented allowing you to choose your preferences for data collection and personalized advertising.

Account and game data stored on Firebase servers is retained until you delete your account. Advertising-related data collected by Google AdMob is retained according to Google's data retention policies. Local preferences stored on your device are removed when you uninstall the app.
All data transmitted between the app and Firebase is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Firebase Firestore enforces security rules that ensure users can only access their own data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our app is not directed to children under 13 years of age (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete such information.
If you are using our app from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in countries where Google operates its infrastructure. By using the app, you consent to this transfer.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
